Here are a few things we learned this week:
In math we:
-Finished up measurement
-Introduced time
In reading we:
-Continued with our non-fiction reading workshop unit. This week we focused on making connections in
our text to our life.
-Began reading poetry
In writing we:
-Began writing All About pieces.
-We published our when we grow up pieces.
-Began talking about poetry
In Fundations we:
-Introduced three letter consonant blends
-Our sight words for this week were any, many, out, about, our,
down
On Monday, Walpole Dental Associates visited and we were able to
learn all about caring for our teeth.
The boys and girls even left with a nice bag full of exciting
items! On Wednesday, David’s dad came in
to read a story to the boys and girls for David’s birthday.
